A sculptural installation for an exhibition at The Nunnery, Bow Road. Constructed from wax, wool, fabric and gold leaf, strands of material reach out across the ceiling with drips of wax corresponding with bowls of gold leaf on the floor of the gallery.
The piece explores notions of weight and gravity, as well as clothing and temple rituals.
This installation was also featured in Underground on BROADWAY, an exhibition at the Broadway Gallery In New York 1- 15th July 2010.
